One Blackfriars is a 50-storey tower made up of 273 luxury residential apartments, a deluxe ground-floor lobby and three basement levels with resident facilities.
Conneely Drylining was awarded the internal fit-out contract to supply and install metal stud partitions and ceilings with a full skim finish on floors three to 45.
The project involved a number of details, including bulkheads, pre-formed GRG/fibrous nitrous/coffers and interfaces with ski ramp details.
This called for close attention to detail, which was achieved through regular meetings with both the client and manufacturers. The project had to be constructed to six-star quality as part of Berkeley Group’s high-rise marquee development, so Conneely used a five-stage snag process to achieve the standards required.
